Handicap Parking Sign Request

To request a Handicap Sign be installed outside your place of residence, you have a few options on how to submit a request:

1.  Complete the Handicap Sign Request Form and mail or bring your completed form to:

2.  Email to:   jgolden@lancasterohio.gov

3.  Submit a request online:  Handicap Sign Request Form

Once your application is received, a review will be done that includes a visual inspection and verification of compliance with the Ohio Revised Code (ORC).  Once the review is completed, you will be contacted.

If approved, the initial fee to install a handicap sign is $25.00, and an annual fee of $10.00 thereafter.  

An Affidavit of Indigency can be requested to waive the fee if needed.  Current guidelines are below:
