FREE COMPOST PICKUP

The City of Lancaster Sanitation Department now has FREE compost available. Compost is SELF-SERVICE unless other arrangements are made with the Sanitation Department 740-687-6660. SELF-SERVICE Compost can be picked up at the City Transfer Station located at 743 S. Ewing St. between the hours of 7:30am and 3:00pm. You must weight in BEFORE LOADING and come into the scale house to let the attendant know what you are here for. You must then weigh out after you are loaded. Residents must provide their own container or vehicle for hauling compost.
