James Young

James Young joined the City Prosecutor’s Office in October 2021. Prior to joining the City Prosecutor’s Office, James practiced as defense counsel in Southeast Ohio for several years. James obtained his Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University in 2007. James also served in the US Navy for almost 11 years where he deployed in 2008 and 2016. James graduated from Capital Law School in 2017 and passed the Ohio Bar in 2018. During his time at Capital Law School, he served as President of the Military Law Club. In his free time, James enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors.
