City of Lancaster Appoints City Engineer
LANCASTER (Ohio) – The City of Lancaster announced today the appointment of Mitch Noland, P.E. as City Engineer. Prior to this appointment, Mitch worked as the Assistant to the City Engineer for two years and has been the Interim City Engineer since February.
In this role, Mitch will oversee the Capital Improvement Program, prepare and review construction drawings, inspect and monitor infrastructure construction and maintain mapping and GIS information. He’ll also be responsible for developing and updating standard drawing and construction material specifications, as well as overseeing right-of-way and access management.
“Mitch has already demonstrated a strong work ethic and dedication to our city through his work as the Interim City Engineer,” said Lancaster Mayor Brian Kuhn. “We know that his experience and knowledge in the engineering field, as well as his commitment to our community, will make him a key asset to the City of Lancaster as he moves forward in his role as City Engineer, and I look forward to working with him.”
Mitch attended Fairfield Union High School and Montana State University. He lives in Lancaster with his wife and two children. In his spare time, Mitch enjoys hunting and fishing, playing basketball and watching his kids play sports.
