The City of Lancaster Cemetery Department has implemented a Chemical weed control program in Forest Rose Cemetery for the 2022 mowing season due to the lack of available mowing contractors. We are currently in the process of treating around all headstones. All areas must be treated before trimming can occur to ensure successful results. Due to the inclement weather this process has been delayed and therefore Forest Rose Cemetery will observe a skip week (05/02/22 - 05/08/22) of the mowing and trimming services. This small delay will help to ensure a successful remainder of the 2022 mowing season. We apologize for any inconvenience with the observance of the Mother's Day Holiday.
